IT Service Desk Analyst (Windows Active Directory Microsoft Exchange VMWare). Would you like to progress your career in a supportive, technology driven environment with lots of learning opportunities and career progression?

Hedge Fund with multi-billion dollars under management is seeking a bright, ambitious IT Service Desk Analyst to join a small dedicated team. This is more than a 1st line support role; you'll have time allocated to project work and training. Daily responsibilities could include monitoring complex in-house systems; managing Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange; looking after VMWare ESX virtual infrastructure; desktop upgrades and deployments; server upgrades and deployments; server and workstation hardware, diagnostics and repair; backup infrastructure and disaster recovery plans; automated software packaging and build systems as well as writing Perl and Powershell scripts to automate daily tasks.

You'll be based in a fantastic Central London office with a professional yet friendly, collaborative and social environment with casual dress code and a good work / life balance.

Requirements:

*Degree educated, 2.1 or above, Computer Science preferred

*Drive, passion and motivation to succeed

*Experience of working in similar position

*Experience of Windows 7/10 desktop and Windows 2012/2016 Server, server and workstation hardware, PowerShell, Perl, backup infrastructure, Linux infrastructure, networking and major desktop applications such as Microsoft Office will all be of benefit

*Excellent communication skills
