Head of Engineering (Machine Learning / AI). Would you like to work on ground breaking Virtual Reality / spatial technology at a successful and growing start-up and make a real impact?

As Head of Engineering you will partner with the company's founders to define the technical strategy and growth aims to achieve long term objectives in product, innovation and company culture. You'll establish the technical vision and lead all aspects of technology development including defining strategy of which parts of the ecosystem need to be sourced externally as well as what should be developed in-house. You'll also provide leadership to the engineering team, with four direct reports (25 overall) including KPIs and 121s mentorship.

This is an exciting opportunity to build immersive VR experiences on a truly creative platform, working with a bunch of like-minded technologists in an upbeat, sociable team environment. You'll be based in a vibrant area of Central London with plenty going on.

Requirements:

*Experience of taking responsibility for all engineering decisions and projects whilst managing stakeholders at C Suite level

*Experience of bringing innovative new products to the market from scratch, ideally working with R&D teams and entrepreneurship in greenfield areas or in start-up and growth level companies

*Experience of working with Machine Learning / AI technologies

*Experience of leading engineering teams and developing leaders

*Broad range of technical knowledge across the full development lifecycle

As Head of Engineering you will earn a competitive salary (to £110k) plus bonus and benefits package.
