My client are a world renown nuclear services organization who are regularly winning new business and as a result are looking for a number of engineering professionals to support long term work with EDF.

The initial focus would be a large scale decommissioning and defueling programme across the EDF reactor fleet but also to support future work they are winning spanning Europe & Asia.

We are looking for 1 Programme manager & 1 Project Manager to support our ongoing operations on the Barnwood, Gloucester site.

Role Responsibilities

* Generate and manage project budgets, ensuring that cross-functional project costs are regularly updated for tracking purposes, monitoring the expenditures against benefits delivered. Ensure that the database for accounting is up to date and accurate.

* Run risk management process, with potential risks or threats to the success of the project being identified early and controls and mitigating actions put in place through maintenance of Risk Register and generation of Critical Risk Remediation Plans.

* Lead the planning and implementation of projects. Ensure the rationale and scope of the project is clarified through a Team Charter.

* Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

* Negotiate appropriate resource and skills allocation as required to deliver on specific projects.

* Support in new business winning activities with the gravitas to communicate with external and internal stakeholders across all seniority.
