Our client is looking for a contract Web UI Designer. The role will be responsible for designing and implementing high quality, data-driven, responsive web UIs for their web-based solutions. The UI Designer will design, develop and test intuitive and user-friendly web-based User Interfaces in line with the Product requirements. The role will collaboratively as part of a Scrum development team, translating wireframes, workflows and user stories into fully-functional web UIs and work with the project teams discuss technical issues in a non-technical language. The designer will participate in structured testing, including design reviews, code walkthroughs and inspections. The right candidate will have experience as an UI Developer using modern Web Frameworks and methodologies. You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as time management and planning and organisation skills. The technical skills required are good responsive framework knowledge (Bootstrap, Semantic UI), HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, experience of building modern web applications, and front-end testing.
