Head of Contracts

NHS client based in the Midlands requires interim support within the contracts function. After a period of trying to manage the vacancy within the existing team, due to 19/20 contract rounds approaching, they now require further support.

The position is for an Interim Head of Contracts and Income and the suitable candidate will have the following experience.

* Needs to have worked in the NHS within the last 3 years within a contract manager role e,g Contract Manager, senior contract manager, Head of contract etc.

* Must have experience of working with both Commissioners and Providers in regards to Contract management.

* Understands the full contract cycle for Acute contracts.

* Will have line management responsibility for some junior staff (band 7/band 4)

* Be able to manage year end process in relation to 18/19 contract position.
