Do you have a technical sales background within the electronics sector? Are you a commercially aware, charismatic individual that enjoys dealing with customers on a technical and business level?

This company distributes high-end, sophisticated machines and electronic components to a broad customer base. Having expanded their product range and markets they now require a further sales engineer to continue adding additional product ranges.

In this role you will be responsible for managing an existing customer base using niche products along with developing a broader customer base in industrial software, metrology and other areas. Working from home you will initially spend time in the Cambridge office to undertake extensive product training but will then cover a customer base across UK and Ireland as well as taking the lead within the sales team.

The ideal candidate will be a technical sales engineer with experience of selling microelectronics products that wants to be an instrumental part of an evolving business.

The Role:

* Manage, build and expand sales portfolio of customers

* Sales demonstrations and presentations to customers

* Undertake technical discussions with clients

* Taking the lead with the sales team

* £35k - £50k + Bonus + BUPA + Training + Development + Package

The Person:

* Sales Engineer from the electronics industry

* Proven track record of sales and business development of technical products

* Willing to travel UK and Ireland

* Excellent communication, and commercial skills

* Ideally will have experience of microelectronics knowledge
