Windows Infrastructure Engineer (Microsoft Windows Active Directory Virtualisation Citrix VMWare). Leading UK technology services provider that specialise in finance markets is seeking a skilled Windows Infrastructure Engineer to work the night shift (7pm to 7am, 4 days on / 4 days off).

As a Windows Infrastructure Engineer your key responsibilities will be to provide BAU 3rd line support in line with ITIL incident, Problem and Change processes; you'll be dealing with escalations from 1st / 2nd line service desk teams and leading the initial technical response and triage of major incidents. Much of your work will focus on Virtualisation (Citrix / VMWare / XenApp); you'll have the opportunity and support to become a virtualisation expert.

Requirements:

*Experience as an Infrastructure Engineer

*Good knowledge of the Microsoft Windows technology stack including Active Directory, Desktop, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange

*Virtualisation experience with Citrix and / or VMWare

*Excellent communication skills and client facing ability

*Willing and happy to do night shifts (7pm to 7am, 4 days on / 4 days off)
