Senior Xamarin Developer | 3-6 months +

I am currently looking for a Senior Xamarin Developer for an initial 3-6 month Contract to join. We are looking for someone to develop Xamarin apps on both iOS & Android platforms, using Xamarin.forms, but native development experience of either iOS or Android will also be beneficial. The role requires you to create and maintain mobile apps that are art an exciting new range of Internet and cloud-connected smart products.

Rate - £400 - £475 per day

Start Date - January 2019, or sooner

Key Responsibilities

To work closely with our embedded, cloud and application developers and our design partners to develop best-in-class user applications

Architect & deliver new features for the Xamarin based application on both iOS & Android platforms

Analyse & implement technical improvements in the existing Xamarin based application

Be responsible for the outline design and implementation of the user experience of our apps, working with our design team.

To analyse, diagnose and resolve application based defects in a timely manner

Skills Required (not all essential):

* Xamarin development including MvvmCross

* Xamarin.forms

* Android app development

* iOS app development

* C#

* Full app lifecycle - concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support

* Understand the mobile landscape, architectures, and emerging technologies and toolkits

* A professional attitude with a proven ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and good personal skills

* Continuous Integration and Continuous build experience

* Awareness and experience in creating secure apps

* Experience and/or awareness of the Systems/Software and Application engineering lifecycle, including source control and continuous integration (e.g. GIT Hub, Team City)

* Experience in working in agile development environments, including Scrum
