I am currently working with a Newmarket based client and they are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join their team. This is an internal post and you will be providing support for 150+ users, this number will continue to grow as they big expansion plans for the new year. As the business grows so must their IT department which is why they require an additional engineer to help with the day to running of the department. You will be joining a team of 9 with the option to grow within Support, Infrastructure & Cloud based software.Skills required '€¢ 2/3 years' experience in a similar 2nd line/Desktop support role'€¢ Network support (Active Dictionary, DNS & DHCP)'€¢ Server Support (Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 & 2016)'€¢ Understanding of a helpdesk environment & ticketing system'€¢ Knowledge of Microsoft applications up to & including Office 365 & Exchange'€¢ Knowledge of Windows 7/8/10 Desirable Skills '€¢ Any Virtualisation exposure with VMWare or Hyper-V'€¢ Any experience with new system deployment'€¢ We would like to know of any hardware support you have Please submit your CV to be considered for this role or contact Steven Ashley at Interaction Recruitment by emailing [email protected]
