Mechanical Design Engineer

High Wycombe

Rate: £35 - £38 per hour

Contract: 6 months minimum, likely December 2018 start and lasting most of 2019

A specialist critical environment consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on multiple pharmaceutical upgrade projects. The projects are currently at BSRIA stage 2, so are at the prime time for any Mechanical Design Engineer to get stuck into.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities and Duties

The job of the Mechanical Design Engineer will involve the following:

* Produce engineering designs, calculations and specifications, using appropriate technical software

* Work through from BSRIA stage 2 on projects, taking them through entire design phase

* Office based design in addition to site surveys

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements

The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer:

* Previous experience working on pharmaceutical or laboratory projects is essential

* Up to date on British Standards

* Able to work on your own with minimal supervision.

* Experience using AutoCAD, Hevacomp, etc.
