We are assisting in the recruitment of a Java Software engineer who specializes in Graphical User Interface (GUI) technologies such as Java Swing and works in a development environment utilizing Eclipse, Maven and GUI debugging tools.

Role Overview

We are looking for a software engineer who will work on the GUI Frameworks and Architecture and produce reusable technical frameworks, libraries and processes. The team is in charge of the software frameworks and libraries at the core of the main airport passenger servicing platform.

This is a varied position and will include:

*Working on the design, development and maintenance of the core GUI frameworks and libraries.

*Development and maintenance of new user interface components, screens and flows.

*Security and Authentication enhancements.

*GUI development and continuous integration.

Skills / Environment

Java

Java Swing

Eclipse

Maven

Version control (Mercurial Git/Bitbucket)

Ideally Scripting tools (Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Python)
