Project Manager Trading & Sales

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager with long-standing project experience in front office, trading & sales environments (preferably Investment Banking), who can also act a s a Business Analyst. The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of projects revolving around the Murex platform. This is a contract assignment in Zurich.

Tasks

* Business analysis for projects as required - analyse, specify, execute and test requirements from early stages through to go-live phase

* Specification of user interface requirements

* Take ownership of the whole project lifecycle (including issue and risk management etc.)

* Stakeholder management on various levels (IT, Business, cross divisional departments, contractors and vendors)

* Leading and communicating to Steering Committees

* Act as a deputy team head / leading a team of Project Managers / BA's (approx. 2 to 4 FTEs)

Requirements

* Very good understanding of project management methodologies, e.g. waterfall, agile / scrum (scrum master desirable)

* Several years of experience as a project manager with a proven track-record of successfully delivered projects in Banking

* Experience as a business analyst, understanding of the challenges that come with the whole requirement engineering process

* Very good understanding of banking processes with regards to trading, sales, good understanding of financial products, ideally in relation to FX

* Exposure of the Murex platform

* Excellent problem solving skills (in particular complex issues and problems in a Trading and Sales environment)

* Proficient in English an absolute must.
