Information Security Analyst

Spring Technology are currently working with a large financial services organisation based in Oxfordshire, looking for an Information Security Analyst to join the business on an initial 3-6 month contract.

The role

To ensure a pragmatic level of information security is delivered across the client globally by balancing the need to protect the organisation with the need to do business. To work closely with the Information Security Manager, the wider business, the Change team, IT Services and suppliers, to ensure security risks are understood, appropriate controls and policies are deployed, and agreed levels of security are delivered across the organisation.

Skills and experience required

* Proven experience of working as an Information or IT security resource in a mid-size organisation. Very good understanding of technical architecture and security aspects of infrastructure technology. Experience of implementing technical security standards and security policies

* Experience of working in a security team with a good understanding of effective and proactive security operations management

* Experience of developing vulnerability management programmes/initiatives

* Practical approach to improving the quality and attention to security in a fast changing organisation.

* Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory compliance, and security frameworks such as ISO 27001
