Are you a Project Manager who enjoys managing multiple small projects and stakeholders simultaneously and seeing projects through to successful implementation? Our client, a leading UK training provider, is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated PM with excellent, organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills. This role offers the chance to develop your project management experiences and skills in an Agile environment and across different web and business systems . This is a new role that will appeal to project managers who enjoy working on multiple small projects which have a very high customer and benefits focus.

The ideal candidate will have worked as project manager in the services sector delivering IT systems and services to a variety of business stakeholders. The key attribute we are looking for is the ability to work on small/medium IT systems projects simultaneously. You should have a track record of building good working relationships with colleagues, internal business stakeholders and external suppliers. The role will primarily entail managing small /medium software package configuration and customisations projects and small www projects. You will have the support and resources from a range of IT staff including senior project managers, business analysts and technical implementation teams. Requirements

You will need the following skills and experience: -

A proven track record of working as a project manager ideally in the education, training or services sector

Very pragmatic and tailored approach to project delivery, planning and risk and issues management, whilst working within established Project Management frameworks

Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at different stages of implementation

Ability to initiate and plan projects quickly with minimum direction

Good project budgeting and financial management skills

Demonstrable knowledge of the systems developing lifecycle including business analysis and testing

Experience of matrix managing internal and external suppliers

An ability to envision solutions and assess different technical solutions to solve business problems

A very strong business and commercial focus

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Any of the following would be an advantage, but are not essential: -

Prince2 or APM qualification

Experience of working in an Agile environment, preferably SCRUM

Understanding of change management and how to implement business change

Benefits

A salary is offered circa £40k-£45k plus a full and flexible benefits package including 25 days’ holiday, pension, healthcare, life insurance etc. The client also offers flexible working hours and the option to work at home up to 2 days per week (after satisfactory completion of probation). The post is a permanent and full-time position based in Central/North London N7.
