Enterprise/Infrastructure Architect

My client is looking for an Enterprise or Infrastructure Architect to join a busy Central Government organisation on a 12 months basis based in Salford.

The role is OUTSIDE of IR35, paying £500 per day.

The candidate needs to hold a VALID SC Clearance.

Spec:

Design Data Centre and services technology. Ensuring the design moves to AS-A Service Infrastructure up to and including hypervisor level.

Ensuring the strategic fit of the DC Services into the HO Enterprise Services ITOC.

Essential Skills:

Previous experience of working in Government or highly regulated environments.

Over 10 years experience in a senior architectural role.

Experience of working in a complex organisation including working directly with a variety and range of both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver DC transformation.

Experience in supporting and managing BAU engineering, including major incidents in relation to network troubleshooting.

Experience in the design and configuration of hypervisor technology.

Experience in the troubleshooting and tools for DC monitoring.

Production of complex technical deployment and support documentation for Storage/Compute or DC Network.

Qualifications/Experience Required

Certification in DC Technologies

TOGAF Qualified

Vendor Formal Certification

Bachelor's degree in any field or relevant demonstrable experience.

Desirable

Experience of DCs which operate above OFFICIAL Classification.

Practical experience in Service Now integration.
