Role: Freelance B2B Sales - Business Development Manager

Reporting to: Director

Reports within region: Home Based

Purpose of Role:

My client is a Digital Agency that is moving into a phase of ambitious growth and needs a Freelance Business Development Manager to drive the agency's project acquisition, build pipeline and identify new clients.

ACCOUNTABILITY

· Generate new viable enquiries

· Strengthen Total Business Development Process

· Accelerate the progression of projects through the business development process

· Ensure customer satisfaction with the business development process

Role

Develop Opportunities

· Research and identify potential customers in key sectors

· Develop customer engagement and opportunity for development strategies

· Deliver telemarketing campaigns and other customer engagement activities

· Attend and contribute to exhibitions and other events when necessary

Respond to Opportunities

· Support the progression of new leads in to the wider team and process

· Work with the team to assist in converting opportunities

· Respond to incoming enquiries arising from their website, emails and by telephone

· Assistance in the administration of customer proposals

· Relationship management both internal and externally

· Assist in the development and preparation of marketing and sales materials

Evaluation and Impact

· Generation of viable sales opportunities

· The expansion of the sales pipeline

· Growth in sales figures

· Personal knowledge of web, mobile and software based development projects

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR JOB ROLE

* A genuine passion for sales and customer service

* Strong communication skills, with a natural flair for conversation

* Excellent planning and organising skills

* IT Literate

* Numerate

* Self-starter and driven

* Ability to work independently

* Effective time management

* Presentation skills

* Previous Sales Experience

* Professional Telephone manner

* Previous Digital Agency Experience

Job Type: Contract/Freelance

Salary: £150 - £200 a day
