Embedded Software Engineer - York - £45K Plus BensI am working in partnership with a multi-national, industry leading design and manufacturer of innovative solutions for the automotive industry, who are currently looking to grow the team working on one of their key projects with the addition of an Embedded Software Engineer to be based at their headquarters in York.
You will be part of this high flying development team within this innovative organisation working on cutting edge technology. My client truly believe in investing in their people, as time goes on there will be the opportunity for personal development ultimately leading to career progression.
Working as a key member of a team, you will participate in embedded software development working on one of the company's core products and one with a great reputation in the industry. The successful candidate will possess the following skills;
Essential
- Degree in a relevant discipline
- Embedded Software development in C and preferably Assembler
- Embedded Software development on ARM or PIC Family of Microcontrollers
Desirable
- Development to industry standards (eg. Automotive/Aerospace/Medical/Defence)
- Knowledge of embedded development
- Ruby
- Sound understanding of the software Lifecycle
