Embedded Software Engineer/ Firmware Engineer- Leicester- Up to £40k

I am working on behalf of a client who are pioneers in the development of intelligent clothing with over 40 granted patents in the area of smart fabric technology.The garments can be controlled locally by the wearer and connected to the online Eleksen Dashboard through the Eleksen Hub. They have a strong background in electronics and know how in sensor integration into garments.

What will the role allow you to do:

To design, develop, test and maintain production quality firmware using the necessary development tools for the range of microcontrollers and embedded systems used across the company's product portfolio.

Required skills

* Expertise in the use of the GNU toolchain on Eclipse for developing, testing, debugging and implementing firmware.

* At least 3 years programming experience of a full project life cycle with expertise in programming in embedded C language.

* Experience of programming low power 32 bit microcontrollers e.g. ARM Cortex M3&4.

* Experience of working with SPI Bus, I2C and Bluetooth Low Energy protocols

For this role the selected Engineers will be rewarded with a salary of up to £40,000 and real scope for career progression as the company expands over the coming years.
