I am currently looking for a Security and Network Analyst to join a prestigious risk consultancy based in London, a leader in their field they are looking to re-organise their team to create analysts that cover both security and network issues.

They are heavily investing in their security tools and processes and will be looking or someone to be involved in the identification and implantation.

They have a great open plan office, relaxed environment and offer 2 days from home, but they encourage those who are keen to learn and upskill, offering support, financial and otherwise for training, courses and skill building.

You will troubleshoot and resolve any technical errors which may arise, providing security & network support for our global business.

* Testing hardware for defects,

* Manage and monitor the network infrastructure

* Ensure the security of our critical assets are protected and monitored.

* Get involved in projects that will deliver new technology and platforms

* Review capacity of the network and Security and raise recommendations

* Identify issues before they impact the business.

* Provide input into the overall direction of the network and security and architecture.

* Assisting with the identification of cyber threats, vulnerabilities and risks.

* penetration and vulnerability testing across company systems and networks

* Participation in implementation of new security focused projects

* Liaise with the SOC as required.

You will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail,

It's important that you are confident in the basics of networking and have a good understanding of security process, exposure to the following would be very beneficial but not all are required

* Knowledge of network technologies (ports/protocols, access control, routing, Firewalls)

* Knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, permissions, privilege access etc.)

* Knowledge of Anti-virus software and other end-point security tools

* Good working knowledge of Active Directory services, including reporting and auditing of Active Directory objects

* Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies

* Knowledge of Intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS/WAF) and vulnerability assessment tools

* Experience with Microsoft Azure & 365

* Experience of investigating security issues/incidents
