Cloud Engineer (AWS Java / Python Computer Science). Would you like to work for a well backed, successful FinTech start-up and work with the latest technology whilst collaborating with and learning from a small team of engineers and finance experts where you can make a real difference?

As a Cloud Engineer you will help build out the AWS infrastructure, increase automation, ensure systems are reliable and scalable and promote a DevOps culture. You'll take an engineering approach to infrastructure and operations, solving business problems with software and automation; take ownership of the hosted infrastructure ensuring that it meets the needs of the product with a particular focus on data security, resilience and build, maintain and help shape the core Java libraries that power the product.

You'll be working with a modern technology stack with IaC including AWS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, DynamoDB, KMS and Terraform on the infrastructure side with Java 8, Maven and Kotlin on the backend and TypeScript, Angular 5 on the front end.

Requirements:

*You have a deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including Data Structures, Algorithms and Concurrency

*You're able to read and write Java or Python code

*You have a good understanding of Cloud based infrastructure with AWS production experience, preferably as a part of a hosted service

*You're keen to work in a start-up environment where your contribution matters

As a Cloud Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £85k) plus share options.
