Senior Data Protection Adviser

£40,000 - £50,000

Spring Technology are currently recruiting for a Senior Data Protection Adviser to work for a leading Solicitors / Law firm based in Birmingham city Centre . This is a permanent opportunities with a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus

The key purpose of this role is to provide data protection subject matter expertise and advice, with a particular focus on individual rights, and incident response..

This will include:

*Assisting in developing awareness of and ensuring compliance with data protection legislation as applicable to the Group.

*Participating in delivering a data protection strategy by creating appropriate frameworks and promoting consistent processes and behaviours so they become part of the Group's culture.

*Engaging with relevant stakeholders in the business and provide practical, efficient solutions were shortfalls are identified and ensure the implementation of corrective measures.

*Supervising and providing developmental support to the Data Protection Co-ordinator(s).

*Liaising with regulatory and client care subject matter experts to deliver a 'one voice' response management process.

Knowledge:

Track record of analysing problems, identifying & evaluating options, deploying sound decision-making skills

*Excellent communication skills

*Build effective working relationships (internally/externally)

*Attention to detail

*Prioritising & time management skills

*Good quality report writing skills, ability to develop & present ideas

*Leads the total supply chain solution for either a large project, a significant business area or major spend categories; develops and implements supply chain strategy accordingly.
