Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Product Manager for an initial 6 month contract based in Edinburgh on a rate of £400-500/day (inside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Supporting the online identity assurance alpha phase (prototype) the Product Manager will join a multidisciplinary agile delivery team.

* Responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of the digital identity capability by providing direction to a multidisciplinary team.

* Create a vision for your product/s based on your understanding of user needs.

* You will help your team build the right things in the right order by developing and prioritising product roadmaps and backlogs.

* You will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders and users to ensure they are clear on the benefits of the product and that their feedback is being used to inform on-going improvements.

* Initial phases will require close alignment and working with the other product manager/s and platform owners.

Requirements:

* Experience of product management with a passion for shipping and evolving great digital products by leading multi-disciplinary teams.

* Experience of creating, maintaining and prioritising product backlogs to direct the work of a delivery team.

* Experience of engaging with users and turning user insight into product improvements.

* Familiarity with setting, monitoring and reporting measurable product performance targets.

* Familiarity with a range of agile delivery techniques and tools.

* Have strong verbal, written and visual communication skills that you are able to tailor to the needs of the audience.

Desirable Skills:

* Experience of working with commercial technology partners, such as system integrators or software suppliers.

* Experience of engaging with multiple stakeholders in a policy or project context.

* Experience of working in a delivery capacity in the public sector.
