Strategy and Operations Manager
We are looking for someone bright, enthusiastic and analytical to join our growing team as our Strategy and Operations Manager. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a strategy background to move into operations in a high growth environment by working as the right hand to the CEO (ex OC&C Principal).
Urban Jungle are using technology to build an insurance company for a new generation of customers. We offer our customers better suited products, which are much cheaper, and all sorted in minutes. Over two years of consistently doing the right thing by our customers, we’ve built the top rated home insurance provider in the UK and are growing incredibly quickly.
Your key responsibilities would include:
-Helping the CEO shape the strategy including conducting financial and non-financial analysis
-Project managing new initiatives for the business, and acting as quality control
-Supplier and partner management and reporting
-Evolving our customer reporting dashboards
-Supporting fundraising and investor relations
-Leading on our customer service approach
We are looking for a bright and multi-talented individual who is not afraid to work hard and get involved in a mixture of glamorous (and not so glamorous) areas of the business. A willingness to invest in learning and building your expertise in areas where you have less experience is key.
We would expect you to build a team around you in the coming year.

-Have 2-5 years of professional experience at an established strategy consultancy or high quality in-house strategy team
-Are a graduate from a top university with a strong academic background
-Are highly analytical and used to making decisions based on data
-Are passionate about how technology can make customers’ lives better
-Are an enthusiastic problem solver, and comfortable dealing with new challenges in a rapidly changing environment
-Are ambitious and excited about the challenges and opportunities presented by a rapidly scaling business
-Are an easy-going person who gets on well with people from diverse backgrounds and points of view
-No experience of insurance or operational experience is required. We will support you in developing your skills in these areas
