Location:
* Responsible for working with IT Areas to provide analytic and development support for existing Data Engineering Group ETL Processes integration and quality assurance of the data warehouses to their application.
Skills and Experience:
*
* Scope the requirements to accommodate external functional enhancements to support market policy change and ensure these are delivered within the framework and timeframes required.
* Perform and current ETL provision analysis for impacts to support market policy change and volumes
* Designing, implementing, and maintaining logical and physical models
* Reverse engineering and documentation of existing models using modelling tools.
* Creating requirements / stories for changes to provide metadata ingestion, maintenance, and translation
* Interview Subject Matter Experts, both business and technical, to extract what is needed to design and model the appropriate data structures for each tier of the data warehouse architecture
* Assist with ETL development, integration testing, and analytic report development when needed.
* Maintains communication with all project team members and stakeholders.
Personal Skills
* 5+ years of experience with data modelling, data profiling, and ETL
* Demonstrated experience working on projects
* Expert knowledge of SAP Business Objects and Pentaho products
* Experience working with Oracle and database management systems and tools preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership skills
* Knowledge of Project Management tools, techniques and processes
* Able to manage simultaneous projects
* Experience with PC tools - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
* Exceptional written and verbal communication that includes good listening skills and an open attitude and acceptance to coaching and being coached.
* Familiar with both waterfall and agile development methodologies
* Demonstrated organization and team building skills
* Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
