Lead Developer Java - We are looking for a Lead Developer to join one of the original Berlin SaaS Start-Up success stories who lead the way in automation software. With their software selling to companies around the world they are looking for a Lead Developer for a growing team of Java software Engineers. The role will mostly be managerial and strategic due to the number of Developers reporting into you - however you should still be prepared to get stuck in to some code. It is your job to work out how to scale up the use of scrum methodology to meet the product releases that are expected over the next 12 to 18 months.

As a Lead Developer you need:

* Proven experience in leading multiple cross-functional Agile teams.

* Still able to produce to clean concise code.

* A background in the whole Java eco-system - ideally in the cloud.

* Excellent English communication skills to lead and inspire an international team.

* Any experience in a role of refactoring a monolith into microservices is a huge plus.
