Computer Futures are working with a global people services organisation who are actively recruiting for a Linux System Administrator to join them immediately in their Sussex office. This is an initial 6 month requirement, with a view to extend further.

Project Scope:

The Linux Systems Administrator will focus on core Linux infrastructure components whilst provisioning new systems through Ansible and vSphere, monitoring production systems/performance. Troubleshooting and resolving issues and managing updates to production systems are also required.

Developing and maintaining deployment automation systems (currently using Gitlab CI)

Must-have Experience:

* Experience in Linux infrastructure design

* Experience of whole project life cycle from design through to service transition

* Nginx

* Php-fpm

* Galera MySQL

* ProxySQL

* GlusterFS

* Centos 7

* Ansible

* Gitlab + Gitlab CI

* VMWare vSphere + NSX

* Relevant experience with a proven track record in a similar role

Location: East Sussex

Contract Length: 6 months

Rate: £400 a day

Urgency: ASAP
