Enigma People Solutions is recruiting a Hardware Engineer to join our client’s European Design Centre in Edinburgh. Our client is recognised world-wide for providing state-of-the-art microcontrollers across various industries. Your role will be to define and develop robust and flexible hardware solutions to match product needs, and support internal and external customer requirements.

This position includes:

Development - schematic capture, PCB design support, Microcontroller firmware development, design verification and testing

Support - enhancements, user support, distribution and returns

Re-work and debug board, failure analysis and repair

Although this is primarily a hardware role some software skills particularly of scripting languages would be advantageous

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics

Knowledge of PCB layout/tracking rules for maintaining signal integrity

Analogue and digital design skills

Microcontroller firmware development
