SC Internet Gateway Security Architect - Basingstoke - 3 months

SC Internet Gateway Security Architect required to join a multinational information technology client based in Basingstoke on a 3-month contract.

The Role

You will be working within a customer facing team, providing security design expertise and delivering a new secure network.

Responsibilities:

* Defining the policies required for the Internet Gateway Service and gathering information from the customer.

* Acquiring a full understanding of Internet standards as well as internet security including web filtering, anti-virus and other components for the Secure Internet Gateway.

* Scoping, defining and documenting security policies in line with customer's application requirements and the organisation's security policy.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will have experience of the following:

* Thorough knowledge of security technologies and associated products

* Deep understanding of security architectures

* Relevant industry certification

* Strong communication technical and writing skills

Skills - Desirable:

* Familiarity with DevOps or other agile delivery methods

* Business development experience

Suitable candidates should ideally hold active SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo SC clearance checks.
