Software Application Packager- 4 Month Contract - Farnborough

My client is looking for an Application Packager for an initial 4 month contract based in Farnborough working with a large defence and technology company. The role will be full time on site and may require some out of hours working, and the client can offer a competitive daily rate.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

* Very good understanding of MSI Technology

* RADIA Packaging

* SCCM

* Wise/InstallShield

* MSIEXEC

* VB Script

* Regmon, Filemon

* Microsoft Installer

Role Responsibilities

* Creating Windows Installer MSI packages

* Performing a Sanctuary scan of the MSI package

* Performing conflict analysis on the MSI package

* Unit testing the Windows Installer and MSI packages

* Creating the necessary documentation

* Storing the outputs in the Configuration Management system

* Investigating and resolving defects in previously created packages

* Adhering to the appropriate standards and procedures

* Conducting peer reviews for other packagers
