This is a one off opportunity for a System Architect to join a team in Cambridge working on IoT. I am working exclusively with a company who are developing security software for IoT devices and are making huge waves within the industry, they're expanding fast and are now looking for a system architect to join them. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the IoT gold rush and make a difference to consumer's security all over the world.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with embedded C, device driver development, RTOS and some experience in the IoT space. You will need to have experience of UML, message sequence charts and to have generated design documents.

In recent years the IoT world has boomed with tens of thousands of devices on the market and growing by the day. IoT has been described as being the 'fourth industrial revolution' with a prediction of over half of new businesses being run on IoT by 2020. This is a really exciting time, but what do we know about IoT security?

There are many security standards yet to be written for IoT products to help protect users, research has even shown that over three quarters of UK consumers have shown concern over IoT security within their home and their vulnerability of hacking.
