Position: Automated Test Engineer

Location: Remote

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: £350 - £400 per day

Overview:

Automated Test Engineer required for a 3-6 Month contract.

The project:

Test Automation Engineer required for a FinTech project based in London. Responsible for producing the Quality Assurance deliverables for the client.

3-6 month contract based on milestone deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Develop and execute Test Plan

* Write BDD and manual Test scripts

* Document Test cases

* Perform automated testing

* Produce test reporting

Required Experience:

* 5+ years' commercial experience building automated BDD frameworks

* History of Automated Testing

* Experience with automated test tools

* Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins or similar)

* Comfortable with agile development using an agile issue management system

* Experience of Jira to log issues/test feedback

* Cucumber/Gherkin

* Git

* Relational Database experience

* An RQF Level 5 qualification (e.g. Higher National Diploma) in a Computer Science discipline

Desirable:

* Cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP)

* REST API

* An interest in Finance and/or FinTech

* An RQF Level 6 qualification (e.g. Batchelor's Degree) in a Computer Science discipline
