Overview:

This position will place you in an organisation that uses data in every decision and customer experience to obsessively make their produce much easier and better value for customers. You will be working with the Chief Data Office, which will be working very close with the business to build a new large-scale, AWS hosted, secure, and conslidated data and analytics platform to allow their users to interact with all of their data from a single trusted platform.

Responsibilities:

- Take charge of the roadmap for the development of the data solution, working very closely with the business and modelling team to encourage the creation of innovative pricing and risk analytics solutions.

- Lead the solution design, development and support for the data solution across analytics and BI use cases.

- Confidently interact with other management, analysts and modellers in order to apply improvements to the pricing and risk models and to support any related production data processes.

- Manage the data asset for new business optimization, technical pricing, renewals and underwriting modelling. This will include developing data pipelines to drive modelling, management of input and output data, management structured and unstructured data and managing model output data for consumption by analytical areas.

- Lead agile working and project delivery managing budget, scope, risks and issues.

- Develop data as a service capability, driving more self service by data consumers, enabled by automated data quality controls and clear data lineage in line with platform standards.

- Lead the development team to work to high standards and best practices.

- Work close with the technology teams to ensure high performance, support and change delivery meets company's needs.
