The Role

We have an exciting new role within our vibrant Notting Hill office for a Head of Business Intelligence.

You will be leading the team that runs the data and insights analysis for our most strategic business decisions and that provides the business with reporting tools and insights to continuously improve the performance across all areas of the business. We collect an enormous amount of data every day on payment transactions and on our interactions with existing and prospective customers. The majority of that data is already available in a single data warehouse.

What you will do...

TEAM LEADERSHIP

Lead, coach and develop a strong team of both analytical and technical analysts Enhance the problem solving and communication skill set of the team Expand the capabilities and skills of the team through recruiting or training (e.g. predictive modelling, advanced regression analysis)

DATA INFRASTRUCTURE BUILDING

Evaluate our current data infrastructure and advise on development to move it to world-class

Work with technical analysts and IT team to implement changes to the data infrastructure.

Complete the construction of a best in class

Data Warehouse that consolidates data from a wide range of sources across the business units

REPORTING MANAGEMENT AND TOOLS

Implement a reporting framework to ensure reporting is delivered timely and effectively

Provide KPI data and prepare management information packs as required to enable strategic, commercial and operational business decision making

Ensure an appropriate level of control and documentation around the reporting framework suitable for an FCA regulated environment

Must be very commercially astute (60% commercial, 40% Technical

5 years minimum experience

KEY SKILLS:

Passion for impact and a winning mindset Strong leadership, influence, and coaching skills Proven experience of working in a fast-paced and change-oriented business Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Advanced SQL, Excel, VBA Macro Level skills, PowerBI experience will be useful Understanding of cloud analytics and machine learning would be beneficial Deep understanding of Data infrastructure strategies and ability to work with Database Administrators and IT teams to deliver technical developments Excellent senior stakeholder management skills.
