AWS Support Engineer - £350 - 6 Months - Immediately Available

Looking for an AWS Support Engineer on an immediate basis :

Requirements

* On-Call

* Shift Working

* Proactive

* Flexible out of office requirements

* Be able to mentor other team members

Experience

* A thorough understanding and hands-on experience of AWS andor Microsoft Azure

* Strong understanding of networking concepts - Firewalls VPN DNS NSGs Security Groups

* Familiar with different databases i.e. AWS RDS SQL DynamoDB MySQL MongoDB etc

* Supporting Docker / Kubernetes

* Good understanding of data encryption

* Experience with assessing, developing, designing, implementing, operational and documenting a comprehensive set of technologies and processes within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments

* Experience with Cloud Storage, i.e. S3 EBS Blobs Files

* Data protection (cryptography encryption & key management)

* Identity and Access Management (IAM PAM & AD)

* Good understanding of IAC CloudFormation & ARM Templates

* Experience with enterprise architecture and working as part of a cross-functional team to implement solutions

* Ability to work independently with minimal direction (self-starting and motivated)

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Good understanding of Security and systems best practices

* 3rd Line experience in OS troubleshooting, both Linux and Windows

* Provide technical direction and leadership to resolving production and development operational issues

* Monitor and anticipate changes to the environment in order to prevent outages

Scripting

* Understanding of PowerShell JSON Python

Desirable

* Office365

* AWS Certification

* Microsoft Azure Certification
