Excellent role on offer for an Experienced Civil Engineer looking for a highly autonomous position where you will drive all civil engineering functions and be crucial to future success of this world leading company.

Do you have extensive experience working as a Lead Civil Engineer? Do you have experience leading a Highly skilled, technical team?

Due to the winning of several new contracts and in line with continued growth plans; this global market leader in the heavy engineering industry is looking for a Head of Civil Engineering to join its high tech plant.

In this role you will be seen as the Head of Department in charge of the full Civil engineering function. You will lead and support the civil team and take accountability to ensure the projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality. You will manage and monitor key risks, progress of works and develop a highly skilled engineering team through taking a lead role and providing technical expertise. You will also lead the budgeting, tendering and procurement functions of the department.

This role would ideally suit a Senior Civil Engineer with a strong commercial acumen. You will have experience leading a Technical team and be looking for a Head of Department position. You must be a strong communicator who is able to manage multiple projects at any given time. This is an exciting role which will offer excellent training as well as an opportunity to further progress within the company.

The Role;

* Head of Department in charge of the full civil engineering function

* Accountability to ensure the projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality

* Manage and monitor keys, progress of works

* Develop a highly skilled engineering team through taking a lead role and provide technical expertise

* £65'000 - £73'000 + Bonus + 36 days Holiday + Healthcare + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

* Project Manager

* Must have experience within Civil, Structural or Construction industries

* Excellent organization skills and must be a self-starter.

* Enthusiastic and flexible team player with a thirst for training and development.
