Lead Developer

PHP, MVC, JavaScript - £50,000 - £70,000 - Greater Manchester

The Company:

I’m working in partnership with an established Telecommunications Service Provider that have been operating for over 3 decades through 6 countries worldwide. It is an exciting and significant time for my client, as they have recently moved into some brand-new offices and are looking to expand!

The Role:

The Lead Developer with experience programming in PHP who has a broad understanding of MVC and JavaScript will play a vital role in improving the company’s various different products, whilst at the same time designing and building new greenfield projects. Also, you will have the chance over the next 12 months to mentor junior staff members and create a team around you.

Skills:

- Someone interested in growing into or having a leadership role

- PHP - version 5 or later

- Broad understanding of MVC

- JavaScript experience or knowledge

- Experienced with using HTML and CSS

Nice to Haves:

- Experience working with the Laravel and Cake PHP Framework

- TDD experience, ideally with PHP Unit

- Understanding of APIs

- Basic understanding of NodeJS
