Subcontracts Manager - Didsbury

We are looking for a Subcontracts Manager. Working on-site with one of our clients you will be responsible for providing contract support to project operations and Supply Chain through the review, negotiation, and execution of purchase order and Subcontract related activities.

Accountabilities and Work Performance Metrics:

* Ensure that risks are assessed on potential projects, managed on contracted projects and reported as directed by policy.

* Support and advise Supply Chain on contract related matters.

* Establish negotiation objectives and achieve them through management of the negotiation process.

* Ensure development of positive customer relationships to enhance resolution of contractual problems on an equitable, businesslike basis.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement related procedures, such that a legal and ethical position is maintained in all business arrangements.

ACS Contract Management Policies, HBS Contract Templates, Electronic Contract Approval Package, General training modules, Risk Review Tool, Schedule of Executive Approvals, HBS Contracting Policy.

Job-Specific Knowledge and Skills:

* Solid understanding of service and construction contracting and contract management principles and techniques.

* Ability to multi-task on a large number of complex contract issues

* Ability to review and negotiate purchase contracts consistent with established business goals and legal mandates

* Ability to develop negotiation plans for team implementation

* Ability to develop policies and procedures for practical implementation in the field

* Ability to sell new approaches and objectives to senior management and the field

* Ability to work in teams

* Understanding of financial concepts (cash flow, ROI, etc.) and impact of contract terms on those concepts.

Experience:

Experience: 5+ years contract management; legal contract experience will substitute in part.

* Salary: £30 per hour
