One of the UK’s largest manufacturers of commercial lighting is looking for an SAP Manager to join its team at its Head Office in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancashire.You will be responsible for the smooth running of operational business processes in their systems, enabling users to work efficiently and effectively. You will also be promoting processes and system improvements as well as offering continued development, improvement and successful project delivery to enhance the existing IT systems.
You will be based on site, dealing with day to day IT issues and questions from internal stakeholders as well as working with an external partner, solving more complex issues.
As an SAP Manager, your daily duties will include:
Leading, managing and directing support teams to make sure that service levels are met by both external and internal IT teams.
Ensuring IT projects are delivered to the correct specification, on time and within budget.
Managing and developing team skills to support and resolve issues in-house where possible and working closely with the business on system enhancements.
Working as the primary point of contact for the business support partner where issues cannot be resolved in-house.
Managing the provision and maintenance of user guides and manuals and identify and arrange any training requirements.
Managing post-go-live support for system implementations and enhancements, oversee business process changes and alternate solutions.
As an SAP Manager, your daily duties will include:
A strong background in IT; strong knowledge of networks, server structure and desktop issues.
Broad experience and knowledge across SAP.
The ability to resolve and fix day to day SAP queries/issues from stakeholders.
Experience in managing and leading teams.
Knowledge of C4C and SCM, SQL, Business Objects, IDT and Lumira, including report writing, universe creation and promotion from one client to another.
