Market Rate (initial 3 months)

We are looking for a Tester (Payroll) for one of the world's most famous retailers based in Leicester.
The ideal Tester (Payroll) would have experience in testing payroll solutions.
A seasoned payroll tester who has had some exposure to Workday (e.g. you worked on a project involving Workday HCM and a 3rd party payroll system) would also be suitable.
Skills
Essential
* Minimum of 3 years' experience of testing payroll solutions
* Excellent understanding of the scope and purpose of different test phases e.g. System Test, Systems Integration Test & User Acceptance Test
* Able to write & execute detailed payroll test scripts
* Has been involved several cloud / SaaS implementations including at least one Workday implementation (ideally but not necessarily Payroll)
* Able to produce test execution plans and contribute towards the overall testing strategy
* Experience of formally logging defects in a defect management system
* Able to work in our Leicester office for at least 4 days per week along with occasional travel to London
Desirable
* Experience of Workday Payroll would be hugely beneficial
* Experience of Time & Attendance and / or Workforce Management systems, particularly when integrated with a Payroll system
* Experience of Benefits systems, particularly when integrated with a Payroll system
* Ability to triage & manage defects
* Some experience of managing test phases
