Network Build & Test Engineer
Portsdown Technology Park - PO6 3RU
Initial Contract Until March 31st 2019
£400 - £550 per day
MUST HOLD ACTIVE SC OR DV CLEARANCE!
Role Activities:
Build and test the network elements of a new IT system that will support ongoing trials with the customer. The individual should have a high level of practical experience working with Cisco products, across Switches and Routers. Knowledge of working with virtual routers within a VMWare environment is advantageous.
Experience & Knowledge:
High level of knowledge required with routing protocols and Cisco networking devices, including VLANs, OSPF, BGP to name a few. The environment is heavily virtualised so experience of VMWare would be highly advantageous.
Must have:
* CCNA
* Experience working within a highly secure environment
* SC Clearance
