Cloud Support Engineer - Oxford - 3-6 months - Market Rates

Currently working alongside an organisation based in Oxford who are undergoing a mass migration project who are searching for a cloud support engineer for an initial 3-6 months contract. You will have hands on experience with AWS projects, a sound understanding of GDPR and security technologies. This process is moving extremly quickly so the ideal candidate will be available to start their next contract by the 3rd of December 2018.

Requirements:

* A thorough understanding and hands-on experience of AWS

* Good understanding regarding data and GDPR

* Experience with assessing, developing, designing, implementing, operationalizing and documenting a comprehensive set of security technologies and processes within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments

* Experience of AWS IAM and MFA tokens

* Data protection (cryptography & key management)

* Data encryption (at rest and in transit)

* Identity and access management (IAM & PAM)

* Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc.)

* Experience of implementing Cloud Security Governance

* Knowledge of CSA, OWASP and other Industry Cloud Security Frameworks

* Experience with enterprise architecture and working as part of a cross-functional team to implement solutions

* Ability to work independently with minimal direction (self-starting and motivated

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Good understanding of Security and systems best practices
