SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - DONINGTON - £550/£600 - 6 Months

The work location is in CASTLE DONINGTON and is a 6 months contract.

Pay rate is between £550 - £600 per day.

The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.

Key skills

* Must have Strong systemic engineering background / technical/ automation/ conveyor warehousing/ plc/ control systems/ reactive maintenance/

* Project/Programme management (e.g. Prince 2)

* Must be have strong technical skills

* Stakeholder management

* Business awareness (e.g. Commercial Calendar)

* Logistics network/retail experience

* Financial controls

* Strong proven communication skills at all levels

Key accountabilities and measures

* To own project specific plans to execute change projects

* To keep business stakeholders aligned and engaged throughout the project lifecycle

* To understand and document interdependencies between projects and highlight opportunities or risks

* To follow agreed project methodology, including clear definition of RACI and project scope

* To own the project specific change budget and deliver benefits in line with business case

* To document and mitigate project specific risks

* Create business cases from beginning to end and present it to senior stakeholders; ensuring that it is refreshed and justified at key stages during project delivery

* Coordinate internal and external resources (SME's, Stakeholders, suppliers and partners) in a cohesive manor to ensure the project is successful

* Manage interdependencies with other projects and business activities ensuring alignment

* Ensure all financial controls across multiple projects are robust and auditable

* Maintain all agreed governance timelines / templates (RAID, Status Reports, Financial Trackers)

* Attend quarterly project audits with PMO and complete remedial actions
