A successful and rapidly expanding Cloud solution services company specialising in the implementation and support/management of Cloud based infrastructure environments is looking for a talented Data Engineer to design, architect and develop systems to perform complex calculations on high volumes of data. You will ideally have a degree and a masters in a mathematical subject and have at least 5 years experience working in a financial environment, working across a broad range of asset classes.

The role requires a solid technical background, developing financial systems using Python, Java, C++, Q, R or Matlab together with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience of building financial, real-time systems and time series databases is essential. Any experience of Cloud technologies would be ideal but a strong interest would suffice.
