An expanding technology company seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java skills together with experience of Mobile application development on the Android platform, to contribute to their new Smart City / IoT applications.

In this Software development role you will work on front end Android applications and back end software with the key focus being the development of user interface software on a mobile device. You will also help in evolving the platform using techniques such as microservices and will be encouraged to learn new technologies relevant to the project.

The key skills and experience for this Senior Software Engineer role are server side development undertaken within a commercial context using Java; mobile application development on the Android platform and ideally some exposure to software testing and database development.
