This is an exciting opportunity for a Global Shift supervisor, to you join three other supervisors responsible for providing leadership and tactical management of the day to day operations within a busy NOC environment. You will provide line management to a small team of analysts and NOC operational leadership across the broader support team based both in the UK and in the US.

Job Summary:

- Management of all day to day operations within the PSD NOC including assisting with resource management across shifts, Event Management, Incident Management, SLA performance and associated performance to ensure team goals and objectives are achieved

- Provide first level escalation for any major or ongoing service incidents

- Ensure that all service incidents are logged in the incident management system

- Ensure all incident tickets are assigned and worked through to resolution, whilst providing timely communication and updates through the lifecycle of the incident ticket

- Post incident impact analysis / support and production of post incident documentation

- Support training and development of team members and manage associated performance through regular feedback, coaching and counseling as necessary

- Engagement and management of 3rd party organisations in support of any given service incident and through vendor service review meetings

- Ensure defined tasks and network housekeeping duties are performed as directed

- Support of change management activities including review and approval of all relevant change requests

- Will work closely with adjacent organisations within the company including Engineering, Technical Support teams and Service Delivery teams to ensure the effective coordination and management os change management, tasks and other projects

- Compliance with their incident management policy and process to ensure the effective management of all service incidents

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

- 5+ years' experience working in a Telecommunications / Network Operations environment

- 3+ years of developed trouble shooting skills covering network hardware, protocols and circuitry

- ITIL v3 Foundation certificate holder

- Flexible approach to work and willing to work as part of a global team

- Ability to work under pressure with a professional attitude

- Self-motivated, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, stressful environment

- Flexibility, available to work and provide on-call support within a 24x7 environment, including weekends and holidays

- Experience within the Payments industry

- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)

- CCNA Desirable

- Knowledge or previous use of Remedy

- Knowledge or previous use of Solarwinds

- Knowledge or previous use of Splunk
