DevOps Engineer - £65,000 - Permanent - London based - Great start-up opportunity

Salary: Up to £65000

My client is seeking a DevOps Engineer with the ability to build platforms and infrastructure which can deal with the influx of data as the company continues to achieve significant growth. Following this success their internal tools, technology, processes and more, all need to scale fast. This start-up use's data as an integral part of how it operates, they now serve millions of people across the globe and their services need to be available 24/7. Can you help tie data from a vast range of sources, script solution's and communicate the relevant APIs to the data analysts? Then you'll be a great fit for this role.

Roles & Responsibilities

* Help Build, maintain and develop the production systems, allowing the development teams to ship code successfully.

* Design and develop new systems and tools to enable the business can consume and understand data faster

* Help drive optimisation, testing and tooling to improve data quality

Desirable requirements

* Can code and script - Can code and script - Experience working with Python or similar a plus

* You will work with tools such as Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes & Vagrant

* Knowledgeable with MYSQL, Datawarehouse systems and ETL processes

* Familiar of Nginx, Varnish, Express, ElasticSearch

* Experience with cloud based services (AWS)

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

* Experience in scaling applications
