Java Developer

A multicultural and global software consultancy is looking for a Java Developer to join their motivated development team in their Berlin based office.

In the role as Java Developer you will be working in an agile environment with other highly skilled developers, working on demanding and interesting projects for clients such as BMW and Audi. You will be able to bring in your own ideas and to implement these, using your own fresh code. As a Java Developer you will be working with modern technologies, such as Spring and Hibernate.

We are looking for a Java Developer who is experienced with XP methodologies, such as TDD and pair programming and who has strong problem-solving skills.

As Java Developer you should have the following:

Strong knowledge and experience in Java, J2EE

Strong hands-on experience in Frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate

Knowledge on working with Relational Databases, SQL, NOSQL

Experience with Docker, Node.js and micro-services

Experience in Rest Web Services and Service Oriented Architecture

Hands-on Experience in using Agile and Extreme Programming (XP) methodologies e.g. TDD, pair programming and Continuous integration

Excellent English communication skills
