Our nationally recognised client is looking to recruit a 'IT Infrastructure PMO Manager' to join their ever growing group IT.

This is a very exciting requirement where the successful candidate will get the opportunity to establish, develop and deliver PMO Services and lead the PMO Analyst team for the Infrastructure Delivery function. Enforce the governance of Infrastructure Delivery and the compliance of that activity with internal standards to drive decision making and allow management of risks, issues and dependencies within IT and the wider business

Key responsibilities:

*Establish, manage and maintain a governance and process framework for IT Infrastructure Delivery that enables and drives decision making within Group IT that meets stakeholders, company and divisional requirements and standards.

*Lead, support and promote activity to maintain and continually improve the processes, procedures and standards required to operate a robust, yet cost effective governance and control framework across IT Infrastructure Delivery to successfully deliver the programme and project outcomes whilst remaining compliant with company standards.

*Develop and define the standards for documentation and deliverables management relating to Infrastructure Delivery, to facilitate review and acceptance, clearly demarking the status of the document or deliverable at any given time and drive adherence to document and deliverable management processes.

*Develop and mature the portfolio analysis function. Develop of KPIs and metrics to enable portfolio performance reporting

*Work with the programme manager to establish resource forecasts and manage resource requirements for the KTLO Programme and IT Infrastructure Portfolio elements so that programme delivery requirements are balanced against budget requirements.

*Manage the Risk and Issue Strategy on behalf of the Programme Manager, ensuring the appropriate identification, analysis, capture and reporting of project, programme and portfolio levels risks and issues. Communicate and and escalate risks and issues to appropriate stakeholders in the defined governance framework to ensure an effective second line of defence and drive mitigating actions.

*Provide governance advice and support to the IT Exec and Programme/Project Steering groups by evaluating, prioritising, facilitating and capturing decisions in relation to IT Infrastructure delivery, and drive resulting actions to confirm closure of deliverables and provide an audit trail of decision making.

*Design, interpret, summarise and distribute management information from all ongoing and planned IT Infrastructure Delivery change to inform stakeholders on projects cost, quality and time progress, enabling decisions based on the information provided.

*Lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports so that they know what is expected, are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential

*Identify, develop and deliver continuous improvement actions from day to day operation, lessons learned reviews or stage gate reviews that either improve the ability to deliver Infrastructure change, mitigate risk or address compliance and audit findings

Key Skills:

*Extensive and broad experience of managing a Project Portfolio Office comprising multiple, large programmes of work including the demand pipeline and in line with annual planning cycle.

*Thorough understanding and experience of project, programme and portfolio management methodologies and experience in successfully rolling out and embedding processes and change management methodologies

*Good skills in relationship building and influencing key and senior stakeholders both internally and third party delivery teams.

*Extensive experience of managing large sets of data, identifying trends, summarising large volumes of data and generating action plans or driving decisions as a result.

*Advanced User of Microsoft Project for planning, tracking and reporting project progress.

*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial forecasting and budgeting.

*Advanced Microsoft Sharepoint skills for document management and workflow processing.
