Business Analyst / Transformation / SQL / Web / Digital / Testing / Financial Services / Insurance / Guernsey / 6 Months

My Financial Services client are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract to be based in their Guernsey office (with some remote working a possibility). My client are currently going through a period of change and transformation and needs an experienced Business Analyst to help them through this busy time.. The role will be quite varied in nature; you will be working closely with both IT and the Business on Data, Digital and Web related projects. The ideal candidate will have experience of Business Analysis, data analysis and testing, with Business Analysis being the key area of expertise.

Key skills and Experience:

- Business Analysis experience:

oMapping Business Processes

oDefining Business Requirements

oWriting Project Documentation (Business Requirement Document's, Test Scripts, Project Initiation Documents etc.)

- Previous experience working in a Testing role:

oWriting and Executing detailed test scripts

oRecording/Documenting test results

Additional experience:

- Experience with using SQL (MSSQL T-SQL)

oBeing able to understand and create complex Stored Procedures, SQL Queries, Views etc.

- Experience using the JIRA application for bug tracking/triaging of issues

- Experience working in the Financial Services / Insurance / Wealth Management sector

- Experience working with digital/website based systems

- Knowledge of XML/HTML languages

- Knowledge of IIS/NetScaler
