I am currently working alongside an expanding telecoms company based in Cambridge. They are looking for a senior network engineer to join and completer a varied role which covers security, switches, Wi-Fi, routing & telephony to name a few. The ideal applicant will have experience working with a wide client base with a number of different vendors. We are looking for a strong communicator & someone who will embrace the environment and atmosphere. Essential Requirements:
•
Professional certification (CCNP, CCDP or both)•
Experience designing, deploying & configuring telephony (VoIP)•
Minimum 5 years' experience as a LAN/WAN engineer in a large IT environment•
Knowledge of configuration, admin & troubleshooting of LAN switches, routers & firewalls•
Experience in management/high level technical escalation•
Knowledges of LAN and QoS management techniques•
Knowledge of network management systems
If you have any knowledge of the following it would be beneficial:
•
Knowledge of JUNOS & Juniper•
VMWare, server, storage & backup
